The student Coin Drive was a huge success. Salmon Creek students brought in 700 pounds of coins and raised a total of $3,119.60. That is triple the amount we have ever collected! The kids were really excited about the coin drive, and we had high student participation. Thanks to all of you for emptying out change jars and making trips to the bank for rolls of pennies. This money will go to help lots of children who need things like shoes, glasses or sports fees. I was touched by how eager our kids were to help and contribute to those that have less.
